Fares Ziam vs Mike Davis fight moved to UFC Arabia main card

Fares Ziam was featured in a bout that was promoted to the main fight card of the UFC Arabia gala.

The next gala of the UFC organization will take place on Saturday, February 1, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Israel Adesanya and Nassourdine Imavov will face off in the evening bout of the event. In the second of the evening’s clashes, strikers Sharabutdin Magomedov and Michael Page will meet in the octagon.

Unfortunately, the fight between Ikram Aliskerov and Andre Muniz fell off the main fight card. The Brazilian had problems with his documents at the airport and consequently did not get on the plane to Saudi Arabia. Matchmakers of the UFC organization had to make changes to fill the most important part of the event.

Fares Ziam and Mike Davis will face each other on the main fight card of the UFC gala : Adesanya vs Imavov in Arabia. The duel of lightweight fighters has been moved from the prelims of the event in Riyadh. Looking at the other names and the recent results of the fighters from the prelims, it seems to be the best possible solution.

Fares Ziam has been impressive in recent fights and has a string of four wins in a row. The same is true of the Frenchman’s opponent. The American also scored a series of four wins in a row which makes it likely that on Saturday one of the fighters will extend the streak to five, while the other will have to rebuild.

The UFC organization has officially confirmed the changes to the fight card on its website. As a reminder, Saturday’s gala will take place at a very convenient time for MMA fans in Europe, as the main event is scheduled to start at 6pm.
