Fight of the unbeaten at XTB KSW 118. Michal Hir will face Adam Masaev

Michal “Hiru” Hir, known from the GROMDA organization, has replaced Artur Szczepaniak. The undefeated in MMA Pole faces a huge challenge.

XTB KSW 118 Gala in Kalisz will bring a confrontation in which undefeated Adam Masaev (11-0, 2 KOs, 8 Sub) will welcome undefeated Michal Hir (5-0, 5 KOs), making his KSW debut. The bout, at the contractual limit of up to 81 kilograms, will take place on May 16 at Arena Kalisz. Masaev was initially matched against Artur Szczepaniak, but the latter had to withdraw from the bout due to a shoulder injury.

The event is held under the honorary patronage of Krystian Kinastowski, Mayor of the City of Kalisz.

KSW 118: HIRU replaced Szczepaniak in the fight against Masaev

Adam Masaev has had a successful debut in the KSW cage. Last November, he submitted Maciej Kazieczka in spectacular style and extended his win streak to eleven. Masaev has been competing professionally since 2019 and remains undefeated in the MMA world. He has won eight times by submission and twice by knockout. As many as eight times he has won already in the first round of a bout. Representing France, the 26-year-old is a holder of a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Michal Hir is going like a storm through the professional MMA world, where he has been competing since 2024. He has fought five professional bouts, all won by knockout, and three times sent his rivals to the boards already in the first round. The 25-year-old also has a victory in the Gromda organization’s bare fist fighting tournament. Hir last competed in March, and at the FEN gala he impressively knocked out his rival as early as the 22nd second of the bout, for which he was awarded a bonus. Before entering the professional MMA path, the young fighter also competed successfully in amateur mixed martial arts arenas.
