Another exciting fight of the GROMDA 25 gala is behind us. In one of the most interesting extra fights, Sebastian “Scarface” Skiermanski crossed fists with “Skurt”, who made his debut in the organization.
The fighter from Aleksandrów Kujawski has remained one of the most recognizable faces of Mariusz Grabowski’s federation for years. “Scarface” has fought many memorable battles in the 4x4m ring and has repeatedly proven that he can find his way through the toughest moments. Recent performances, however, have not been particularly successful for him. On his way stood, among others, “Joker”, “Chacia” and “HeavyHeart”, who found a way to defeat the experienced bijok. However, it is also worth remembering his impressive victories, including over “Bad News” or his excellent performance during the tournament at the GROMDA 20 gala.
This time facing Skiermansky was a fighter well known to fans of combat sports. Representing Ukraine, “Skurtu” has already competed in kickboxing, boxing and bare-knuckle fights. GROMDA 25 was his first opportunity to present himself before the audience of the most popular bare fist fighting federation in Poland. On the other side, however, a true veteran of this format was waiting. Did “Scarface’s” experience prove to be crucial, or did the debutant spring a surprise?
ROUND 1 – Scarface shortened the distance and locked Skurt closer on the ropes. The Ukrainian was looking for straights, but Skurtu set him up with straights on the net before finally firing a series on his head. Skurtu recoiled as best he could, but after another blow he fell to the boards – and didn’t get up!
Result: Scarface won by KO.
