The GROMDA Federation is revealing more details ahead of the POLSKIE KOLOSEUM event in September. It’s already certain that undefeated champion Mateusz “DON DIEGO” Kubiszyn will step into the ring once again, with a chance to defend his title for the fifth time. The organization is promising an exceptional lineup and another round of brutal bare-knuckle fights.

Don Diego’s Fifth Title Defense at the GROMDA 26 Event: POLISH COLOSSEUM

No one stirs up the emotions of thousands of bare-knuckle boxing fans quite like Mateusz “DON DIEGO” Kubiszyn. The GROMDA champion returns for his fifth title fight! It will be a showdown unlike anything Sin City has ever seen, all at GROMDA 26: POLISH COLOSSEUM. Live on GROMDA.tv

– Don Diego is in GROMDZIA, which guarantees a massive fight—just as befits our federation’s champion. He’s a guy who breaks down his opponents every second of the fight, inflicting pain on them and sending them to sporting hell. “Mateusz Kubiszyn has been in top form for a long time now—he’s been out of reach. We’ll see who steps up to face him now,” says Mariusz Grabowski, head of GROMDZIA, which has entered its seventh year of operation and is ranked among the world’s best bare-knuckle fighting organizations.

GROMDA 26: POLISH COLOSSEUM will take place at the iconic arena in Pionki in just over a month—as has become tradition, the third event of the year is held in early September. Fan interest is huge, mainly thanks to Don Diego, the undisputed GROMDY Champion. He tames the “hooligans,” who sooner or later will get their noses rubbed in the dirt, and then he’ll affectionately tug on the ears of all the screaming pseudo-tough guys with cotton candy in their hands.

– Those of you who closely follow our social media and everything happening around GROMDY are probably well aware that we have two or three candidates to face “Don Diego”—or maybe just one now… I’m expecting a very good fight from Kubiszyn, and I’m sure he’ll put on a show. Get ready, because Mateusz Kubiszyn always manages to pull something new out of his hat, ” said President Mariusz Grabowski.

35-year-old Mateusz Kubiszyn is a champion of bare-knuckle boxing, but also a master of self-promotion who knows his worth—both as an athlete and… a marketer. No one can highlight his own strengths in the ring as subtly as he does, while at the same time downplaying any strengths of the daredevils who try to take him on. “Let them try—what’s the harm? I’ll take them down just like so many others, ” says Don Diego with a broad smile.

He won the GROMDA championship belt in 2023 by defeating Bartłomiej Balboa Domalik. He then successfully defended his title three times, defeating Łukasz Goat Parobiec, Balboa in a rematch, and Jakub Słomka in early 2025. Today, Mateusz Kubiszyn’s record stands at 10-0, and in a few weeks he will begin a new chapter in the history of Mariusz Grabowski’s federation.

Following the spectacular previous GROMDA 25: BACK TO THE ROOTS event, President Grabowski is raising the bar once again— “We’re moving forward and showcasing GROMDA with ever-greater vigor.” – “Polish Strength” and “Back to the Roots” are the foundation, because we want to promote and discover new fighters. The Polish Colosseum? Definitely yes—there’s no shortage of modern gladiators in GROMDA, ” assures Mariusz Grabowski.

We can already reveal that the 4×4 mini-ring will feature, among others, the winner of May’s GROMDY Tournament, Bartłomiej “Macu” Mac, as well as Maksym “Piła” Pilarski, who was also in great shape but suffered an injury in his very first fight. Stay tuned—we’ll soon be announcing more names of true GROMDY fighters, not some mediocre knockoffs or fighters who trip over their own feet.
