Henry Cejudo presents eye injury sustained in fight with Song

Henry Cejudo presented an eye injury sustained in his fight with Song Yadong at the UFC Seattle gala. The former UFC champion will probably have to take a break from training.

Henry Cejudo lost to Song in the evening fight of the UFC gala in Seattle. The duel was ended prematurely after the Chinese fouled the American by putting his finger in his eye. The foul limited Cejudo’s visual prowess.

Henry Cejudo addressed his eye injury on his profile on the X platform. The Olympic gold medalist and former double champion of the UFC organization briefly enumerated what happened to his eye during the fight at the Climate Pledge Arena.

– Double vision, damage to the soft tissues of the eye, corneal abrasion.

The fighter also stuck a pin in the back of the hecklers, who suggested that he was looking for an opportunity to end the fight prematurely. Cejudo conveyed while still in the fight that he doesn’t see much, and then added that he sees double.

In the end, the fighter took his five-minute break, however, when the bout resumed in between rounds, he again reported inconveniences related to his visual disturbance. This led to the interruption of the fight.
