Ian Machado Garry and Carlos Prates will face each other in a new main event of UFC Kansas. The welterweight duel replaces Hill vs Rountree clash, which fell off card.
Ian Machado Garry and Carlos Prates will meet in the most important fight of the UFC gala, which will take place on April 26 in Kansas. The duel is contracted for five rounds in the welterweight category. The Irishman is ranked higher than the Brazilian, however, both fighters are considered great talents of the division up to 77 kilograms and their duel promises to be extremely electrifying.

Carlos Prates has a fantastic series of eleven wins in a row. The Brazilian has finished his last ten opponents before time. The Fighting Nerds representative has a surprisingly large arm reach for a welterweight category fighter. “Nightmare” boasts a reach of 198 centimeters and definitely surpasses his opponent in this regard.
The winner of the Machado Garry vs Prates fight will undoubtedly join the competition for the highest goals from the spot and score a promotion in the rankings. This duel could be a breakthrough especially for 31-year-old Carlos Prates, who has not yet faced an opponent at this level.
