Ibragim Chuzhigaev and Maciej Różanski will face each other at KSW 114. Sergiusz Zając suffered an injury and withdrew from the Radom gala.
At the XTB KSW 114 gala, to be held in Radom, Ibragim Chuzhigaev (19-6), former KSW welterweight champion and number one ranked fighter in the category, will return to the round cage. His opponent will be number five on the roster, a great grappler with a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Maciej Rozanski (15-6). The clash will take place on January 17 at the Radom Sports Center arena. Sergiusz Zając, who was originally matched against Chuzhigaev, had to withdraw from the bout due to health problems.
Ibragim Chuzhigaev has four fights under his belt for the KSW organization. He last competed in July, but had to recognize the superiority of Marcin Wojcik. For the fighter representing Turkey, it was his first loss in the organization. Previously, Chuzhigaev defeated Tomasz Narkun and won the championship title, and then defended it in fights against Ivan Erslan and Bohdan Gnidko. In these fights he won two bonuses for best fight of the evening and one for best submission. He then parted ways with the organization and returned to it this year. The former champion has been competing professionally since 2012, and has fought 25 fights, nineteen of which he won. Eight times he knocked out his rivals, and four times he won by submission. Between 2017 and 2024 he remained undefeated, being on a wave of ten straight wins.
Maciej Różanski has had two fights in KSW. The last time he competed was last March, but he had to recognize the superiority of Bartosz Leska. The representative of the Berserkers Team club has fought 21 professional fights, fifteen of which he won. Eleven times he finished his rivals before time, of which as many as nine times by submission. The fighter from Stargard holds the championship belt of the EFM Show organization, and he also gained experience fighting for such brands as Bellator, Babilon MMA, FEN and ACB. Różanski has competed not only in Poland, but also in the USA, England, Ireland, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Belarus and Slovakia. He is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a multiple medalist in Poland’s most important grappling competitions.
