For the fighter representing Turkey, it was his first loss in the organization. Previously, Chuzhigaev defeated Tomasz Narkun and won the championship title, and then defended it in fights against Ivan Erslan and Bohdan Gnidka. In these fights he won two bonuses for best fight of the evening and one for best submission. He then parted ways with the organization and returned to it this year. In his second fight he impressively knocked out Michal Dreczkowski, for which he was awarded a bonus, and in September of this year he won against Mariusz Książkiewicz. Zajac is regarded as one of the greatest young talents in Polish MMA. He has been competing on the professional scene since 2020. To date, he has fought ten fights and won nine of them.
