Ibragim Chuzhigaev former KSW champion is clearly setting his sights on a comeback and wants a big fight in the cage of Europe’s top organization.

Ibragim Chuzhigaev left KSW as champion and had ambitious plans. Originally from Chechnya, the Turkish representative hoped for an engagement in the UFC or PFL. Ultimately, however, nothing came of it and Ibragim fought just one fight in a year and a half at AMC Fight Nights 124 in Armenia.

Ibragim Chuzhigaev appeared at the KSW 100 gala, where he got into a brawl with Tomasz Narkun. The fighters exchanged blows but fortunately were quickly separated by security. Wojslaw Rysiewski, KSW federation sporting director, immediately commented on the incident by saying that he would love to see Chuzhigaev fight, but in a round cage, not in the stands.

Rafal Haratyk, the current KSW champion in the up to 93 kilograms division, is sharpening his teeth for a duel with Chuzhigaev, and this is a clash that the Berserkers Team Bielsko Biala camp is pushing hard for. Chuzhigaev himself has posted a KSW ranking graphic in recent days.

Million First did not stop there, however, and uploaded a photo to X asking about a duel with Phil De Fries. You have to admit that it would be an interesting juxtaposition, however, it is worth remembering that the Englishman would have a great size advantage in this clash.

Fans commenting on Chuzhigaev’s entry would prefer him to focus on his duel with Rafal Haratyk or bring another fight to Tomasz Narkun. De Fries has been fending off fighters from lower divisions time and time again in recent years, so it seems that such a matchup would not make sense for KSW either. Unless Chuzhigaev jumped in as a replacement a few days before the event, then there would be nothing to complain about.
