Ignacio Bahamondes is making big plans: “Give me two years and I will fight for the belt”

Ignacio Bahamondes has extremely ambitious plans, the fighter wants to climb up the rankings so that in two years he will fight for the UFC belt in the lightweight division.

Ignacio Bahamondes is one of the hottest names in the up to 70 kilogram category. The Chilean representative, who lives and trains in Chicago, has a series of three consecutive wins before time, and for each win he claimed an additional bonus from the UFC.

– I think I need two wins to be in the TOP 10 of the ranking. After that I will enter the top five of the ranking, and give me two years and I will fight for the belt.

Despite the difference in weight categories, Ignacio Bahamondes is one of the main sparring partners of welterweight division champion Belal Muhammad. Working with the nine years older fighter has helped develop the wrestling of the fighter, who has so far been known for his creative and dangerous standup.
