Igor Michaliszyn before KSW 100: “I have to derail the Latvian Express”

Igor Michaliszyn will face Madars Fleminas at the KSW 100 gala. Ahead of the event, the Pole announces that he wants to derail the Latvian Express.

Igor Michaliszyn will return to the KSW cage at the KSW 100th anniversary gala. On November 16 in Gliwice, the Silesian Cage Club fighter will face Madars Fleminas. It will be a duel of top contenders of the welterweight category.

Igor Michaliszyn is currently ranked fourth in the up to 77 kilograms division. The Latvian is ranked even higher and holds the second position. Igor Michaliszyn has completed the hardest stage of his preparation and announces that he wants to derail the Latvian Express.

Igor Michaliszyn already had a chance to win the KSW championship belt. In May, Michaliszyn fought a duel with Adrian Bartosinski. At the beginning of the clash Bartosinski dominated, but later Igor came to the fore and seemed to start building an advantage. However, the champion showed off a beautiful submission and defended the belt.

Igor Michaliszyn has already managed to recover from that defeat and recorded a win in his bout with Oton Jasse. Michaliszyn won after a judges’ decision. Tomasz Bronder‘s protégé realizes that a win on Saturday, November 16, could give him a pass to another championship bout.
