Igor Michaliszyn has been in the U.S. for two weeks, and after a moment of vacation, the athlete began preparations at the Kill Cliff club.
Igor Michaliszyn added a valuable win to his record at the KSW 97 gala in Tarnow. Michaliszyn defeated Oton Jasse after a judges’ decision. Igor had already planned to fly to the USA for a training camp and a few days after the fight he actually flew to Florida. Michaliszyn had to slightly revise his plans due to injuries sustained in the bout with the Brazilian.
First, Igor allowed himself a few days of relaxation and rest, and now he has officially started his preparatory camp at Kill Cliff, a club where such world MMA greats as Kamaru Usman, Gilbert Burns and Michael Chandler train. While in the US, Shavkat Rakhmonov also appears on this team for sparring.
Igor Michaliszyn made a post on Instagram announcing the start of preparations.
– Well, here we go. Preparatory camp for the next fight time to start. After the first training I know it will be mega time well spent! Today is already a moment of recovery and tomorrow sparring.
Asked by a fan if he had already managed to face someone strong on the mat, Igor wrote back:
– 50 people on the mat each mega strong!
In a recent statement, Igor Michaliszyn expressed his desire to fight Muslim Tulshaev at the KSW 100 gala in Gliwice. It seems that it is under the event in Silesia that the Silesian Cage Club fighter is preparing.
– It seems to me that yes, it would be nice if we did it in November. We will prove to ourselves who is the actual contender. And cool, there will then be a clear and transparent decision as to who will be next on the way to the belt.
