Islam Makhachev once again appreciated Mamed Khalidov

Islam Makhachev once again appreciated Mamed Khalidov in a nice way, the current UFC champion called the KSW fighter a legend.

Mamed Khalidov recorded a spectacular victory this past weekend in the evening fight of the KSW 100 gala in Gliwice. Khalidov submitted Adrian Bartosinski with a balacha in impressive fashion. Mamed’s winning style impressed many fighters, experts and fans.

Islam Makhachev, the current UFC lightweight champion and one of the biggest stars in world MMA, also addressed Mamed Khalidov’s win. Makhachev, in a report on Instagram, commented briefly on Mamed’s performance by attaching a photo of the former KSW champion and adding a note.

– Legend.

This is not the first time Makhachev has referred to Mamed in just this way. In the past, after Khalidov’s win over Mariusz Pudzianowski, the UFC champion also posted a post with the words.

Islam Makhachev is eleven years younger than Mamed Khalidov and has been fighting professionally since 2010. Thus, when the Dagestanian began his adventure in professional MMA it was Khalidov who already had star status and wins at eliteXC in the US or a victory over Jorge Santiago at the Sengoku gala in Japan.

Mamed Khalidov briefly responded to Islam’s report by posting emoticons of his hands folding into a heart shape and his finger pointing toward the sky. Many fans would probably love to see the two great champions training together.
