Jailton Almeida vs Serghei Spivac at UFC 311

Jailton Almeida will get what he expected. On January 18 at UFC 311, the Brazilian will fight Serghei Spivac.

Matchmakers of the UFC organization have put together a fight between fighters who specialize in grappling. Jailton Almeida and Serghei Spivac will face each other in the octagon at the first numbered gala in 2025. Both fighters are ranked in the top ten of the heavyweight category rankings.

Both Jailton Almeida and Serghei Spivac have rebuilt in recent performances. Almeida lost to Curtis Blaydes in March and recorded a win over Alexander Romanov in June. Spivac lost to Ciryl Gane last September, and less than two months ago quickly and impressively defeated Marcin Tybura.

The Jailton Almeida vs. Serghei Spivac fight will be part of the main card of the UFC 311 gala. So far, no other lineups for the event have been announced although one management agency reported that Rinya Nakamura and Muin Gafurov will face each other on the preliminary card.
