Jakub Kaszuba defeated Daniele Scatizzi and advanced to the PFL Europe play-off final in the lightweight category. The Pole remains undefeated and will once again compete for the championship belt.
Jakub Kaszuba recorded his thirteenth victory in a row. The Pole, who lives permanently in the USA, presented himself perfectly in the semifinal play-off duel in the lightweight category.
At the PFL Europe 3 gala in Glasgow, “The Auditor” prevailed in the stand-up, and although he had problems with Daniele Scatizzi, who was strong in the clinch, all the judges unanimously scored Kashuba’s win. Kuba’s main strengths in this bout were accurate stand-up punches and successful takedowns.
The win means that Jakub Kaszuba will face the chance to win the PFL Europe championship belt for the second time. As a reminder, the rules in the PFL organization are that after exiting the group in the basic phase, players compete in a play-off. Then the winner of the final becomes the champion. However, the victor does not defend the title the following year, the competition is completely “zeroed out.”
Jakub Kaszuba’s rival in the final will be Englishman Connor Hughes. Both fighters are linked by a duel with Dylan Tuke. Kashuba defeated this opponent while Hughes lost to him.
