Jakub Wikłacz officially announced today that he has ended his cooperation with the Artnox Fight Sport management group. This means that manager Artur Gwóźdź has lost another star.
Jakub Wikłacz still remains a fighter without a signed contract although he has long said that he is only interested in a contract with the UFC organization. The Red Dragon fighter was the KSW federation champion in the cockerel category, however, he decided to vacate the belt.
So Wiklacz evidently set his sights on specific changes and on continuing his career overseas. As it turns out, however, Kuba has also made another important decision. Jakub Wikłacz has announced the end of his cooperation with Artnox Fight Sport, a management group led by Artur Gwozdzie.
– I am ending my cooperation with Artnox Fight Sport. Thank you for this beautiful period of my career. Winning the KSW championship belt and defending it. For the good and harder moments we experienced together. For the fruitful cooperation with KSW, which allowed me to develop and also contributed to my early release from my contract. It’s been a beautiful work together and I’m grateful for everything we’ve achieved together. It’s time for a new chapter.
The 28-year-old Wiklacz had already decided that former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk would represent his interests at the UFC office. So it seems that now fans of the talent of the excellent grappler are left waiting for the last and most important news, the one about signing a contract with the UFC.
Like Robert Ruchala, Jakub Wikłacz wrote “it’s time for a new chapter.” We hope this means that the negotiations of both fighters with the best MMA league in the world are moving towards finalization.
