Jakub Wikłacz on the future: “Advanced talks are being held”

Jakub Wikłacz spoke on his future, the former KSW champion admitted that advanced contract talks are underway.

Jakub Wikłacz made the decision in December to leave the ranks of KSW federation prematurely. The champion of the cockweight division vacated his belt and parted ways with Europe’s top MMA organization. The Red Dragon and American Top Team fighter set himself a clear goal, to get into the UFC organization.

Kuba decided to trust Joanna Jedrzejczyk, a former champion of the UFC organization who started working as a manager after her career ended. It is Jedrzejczyk who represents Wikłacz during contract talks with foreign organizations.

Jakub Wikłacz in a Q&A session on his channel on the youtube platform talked about the current situation. It turns out that talks are underway however nothing has been signed yet.

– At the moment it looks like this, there are talks with a large international organization and these talks are advanced. For the moment I will say this much, and I think it would be nice for us all to find out soon what my future is.

From Wikłacz’s statement, it seems that he himself would like the situation to be clarified soon. Jakub Wikłacz fought his last fight in June 2024 so his break from competing is already nine months.
