Jakub Wikłacz is entering the final phase of preparation for his next UFC appearance. The Pole, in an interview with Patryk Prokulski of TVP Sport, revealed the secret about the tactics for his clash with Marcus McGhee.

The duel will take place on June 6 at UFC Vegas 118. The Red Dragon Poznan fighter leaves no doubt – the opponent has been thoroughly worked out, and the plan for the fight is ready.

– Stance-wise, he is tightly put together and tends to stick to his schemes. We were looking somewhere for these schemes, what he does, to adapt tactically to him. As usual, we came up with some cool, interesting actions, techniques. So we have our plan for this fight.

“Masa” does not close to one option. Guillotine still threatening

Wikłacz has been associated with impressive submissions for years, and his guillotine has even become a trademark. However, the fighter himself stresses that his arsenal is much broader.

I do not hide the fact that when there is an opportunity, the guillotine is always the way out of any situation. It may happen that I catch a guillotine, but it’s not that this is my only weapon. I am prepared for many other submissions. The guillotine often comes in and is strong, that’s why I have so many guillotine submissions, but it’s not the only technique I plan for this fight.

For “Mass” this is another important step on the American scene. A successful performance could bring him significantly closer to the top of the division and open the door to even greater challenges.
