Jakub Wikłacz and Muin Gafurov will face each other at UFC Vegas 113. This means that a Polish night in the City of Sin as the entertainment capital of the world is often called is getting ready.
Jakub Wiklacz and Muin Gafurov will meet in the octagon on February 7 at the UFC Vegas 113 gala, the news of the juxtaposition was provided by the manager of the fighter from Tajikistan. This is extremely good news for Polish fans, as it means that the former KSW champion will join Michal Oleksiejczuk and Klaudia Sygula on the event’s fight card. It’s worth mentioning right away that the APEX venue has undergone renovation and around 1,000 fans are expected to attend the event.
Jakub Wikłacz had a successful UFC debut, in which he defeated Patchy Mix after a non-unanimous decision. The fight was very evenly matched, however, Kuba badly battered his opponent with elbows and that was the deciding factor in his win. The contract for Wikłacz’s next fight was confirmed by Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who indicated that it is indeed a contract for a Fight Night appearance.
Wikłacz currently has a string of eight fights without a loss in a row, consisting of seven wins and a draw. The fact that Kuba specializes in submissions is known to every MMA fan in Poland, but looking at the talented fighter’s record one will quickly notice that he has never won by knockout, and at the same time never lost by decision.
Muin Gafurov has so far fought four fights in the best MMA league in the world, and his balance in the octagon is two wins and two losses. It should be noted, however, that the Tajik currently has two wins in a row. Gafurov is mainly known for his starts in the ONE organization, for which he has fought six fights.
The Syndicate MMA representative is a two-time world champion in combat sambo. It is worth noting that Muin is an extremely versatile fighter. Gafurov has ten victories by knockouts and seven by submission. The fighter from Tajikistan has never been knocked out, and if he loses it is usually by decision.
