Jamahal Hill listed the strengths and weaknesses of Khalil Rountree, with whom he will fight in late April at a gala in Kansas.
Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree will meet in the UFC octagon in a month and a half. Specifically, on April 26 in Kansas there will be a clash between a former UFC champion and a recent title challenger. Both fighters have losses on their record, after which they will be looking to bounce back and record a win.
Jamahal Hill spoke on his next fight on the On Paper with Anthony Smith podcast. The former UFC welterweight champion said he likes the juxtaposition with Khalil Rountree.
– What I like about this list is that he is now a popular name. Many people are enthusiastic about him. He has had some exciting fights and is an interesting fighter. He gets in the cage to fight, but my skills and what I do really well are things he’s not ready for. I think I will have a wide range of options in this fight.
Jamahal Hill pointed out the rival’s strong points, but also found a flaw in Rountree’s fighting style.
– He is an explosive fighter, he hits hard, he goes forward and believes in his ability to end fights before time, but he is also predictable. I think I will be able to use that against him.
