Jan Blachowicz has signed a contract for another fight in the octagon of the UFC organization, the former champion will return to competing in early 2025.

Jan Blachowicz delivered good news to his fans today. The former champion of the UFC light heavyweight division has posted on his accounts, which clearly suggests that he has signed a contract for another fight in the best MMA league in the world.

Jan Blachowicz gave a positive message, among others, on the X platform where he posted an emoticon suggesting signing the contract. The Pole also added two fists suggesting that the Legendary Polish Force is ready for another challenge.

Jan Blachowicz fought his last fight in the UFC octagon in July 2023. The Pole was scheduled to return to competition in January 2024, however, he announced that he needed urgent shoulder surgery and had to withdraw from a rematch bout with Aleksandar Rakic.

It later turned out that Janek’s other shoulder also required surgery, so the WCA fighter’s return to full fitness was definitely prolonged. The 41-year-old Blachowicz has said in recent months that he is only interested in opponents who are ranked higher than him in the welterweight division.

In recent days, however, rumors have surfaced about a potential fight between Jan Blachowicz and Carlos Ulberg at UFC 312 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. However, this is not confirmed information, however, we will probably learn more on the matter in the coming weeks.
