Jan Blachowicz has found himself in an extremely difficult position. The former UFC champion had his eye on several strong rivals, however, it turns out that they have signed contracts for future fights.

In an recent interview with Jaru, Jan Blachowicz announced that he was aiming for strong names. The Pole was hoping for fights against fighters who are ahead of him in the welterweight category rankings. The former champion of the UFC organization gave an interview to BloodyElbow portal and revealed some interesting topics.

At the outset, Blachovich emphasized what he had talked about earlier. He is setting his sights on a return in December or January.

– I don’t know if I will perform yet this year. I would like to fight at the end of the year, but I don’t think they will find something for me, so maybe it will be the beginning of next year. I have no problem with that. I hope it will be either the end of this year or the beginning of next year. That’s what I would like, but we’ll see what happens.

Later, the Pole surprised strongly by revealing information that probably shouldn’t have surfaced. Blachowicz said that two suitable rivals for his comeback, namely Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka, two big stars signed contracts for their next fights in the UFC octagon.

– We have Prochazka, Hill, only that both have signed contracts, so maybe they will fight each other. I don’t know that, but since Jamahal has signed a contract and Prochazka too, everything points to that. So maybe I should wait for this fight to know my next opponent…? We’ll see. Still soon Ankalaev will fight Rakic, so I have to wait for the result of this fight….
