Jan Blachowicz commented on the exciting juxtaposition in the light heavyweight category. The Pole pointed out the favorite of the Hill vs Rountree fight.
Jan Blachowicz lost last weekend to Carlos Ulberg at the UFC gala in London. The Pole is not sleeping pears in ashes and is active on social media, as well as giving interviews to foreign trade portals.
Blachowicz spoke with reporter James Lynch of the Bodog Canada channel. During his conversation with the reporter, Janek referred to the upcoming Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree bout. This will be a duel between fighters ranked fourth and seventh, respectively, in the light heavyweight division.
The former UFC champion briefly commented on the duel, saying it would be a close one.
– It will be a good duel. Two stand-up guys who like to fight, so… I don’t know, 50/50… But, Rountree is a tough guy, very tough, so he can beat Jamahal.
In the end, Jan Blachowicz decided that although the juxtaposition on paper is very evenly matched, Khalil Rountree seems to be the tougher of the two fighters, which could weigh in his favor in the evening fight of the Kansas gala. The Hill vs Rountree duel will be the main event of the event, which is scheduled for April 26.
