Jan Blachowicz named favorite in Ankalaev vs Rakić fight at UFC 308

Jan Blachowicz has indicated who will be the favorite in the Ankalaev vs Rakić fight at the UFC 308 gala in Abu Dhabi.

This Saturday, October 26, at the UFC 308 gala, there will be a great clash in the welterweight category. Magomed Ankalaev and Aleksandar Rakić will face each other in the octagon of the UFC organization. Ankalaev is ranked second in the welterweight division while the Serb is ranked fifth.

Jan Blachowicz commented on the juxtaposition. The former champion of the up to 93 kilogram category gave an interview to BloodyElbow portal. During the conversation Jan Blachowicz pointed out the favorite in the Ankalaev vs Rakić fight.

– In my opinion Ankalaev will win, he has all the attributes to win this duel. However, this is a fight, so we will see how it goes. On paper, everything points to Magomed. I have fought both fighters and Ankalaev is stronger, he is simply the better fighter.

Jan Blachowicz appreciated the power of Aleksandar Rakic’s punch, however, in the end he bet on Magomed Ankalaev to win.

– Rakić has a knockout punch, he is a strong fighter. Ankalaev, however, is better. I bet on Ankalaev’s victory.
