Jan Blachowicz has had a particularly difficult time. Being at the top of the welterweight category, the Pole had to pause from the summer of 2023. It was all due to severe shoulder injuries, which required surgery and a long rehabilitation.

Jan Blachowicz revealed how his dream immediate future in the UFC is painted.

– What will happen if I win against Ulberg? I will get a fight for the belt with Ankalaev. We have a common history, unfinished business. First of all, my focus is only on Ulberg. Once I beat him, then we can talk about what’s next. Yes, I will defeat Ulberg and have a title fight with Ankalaev.

Thus, Blachowicz is not thinking only about the upcoming bout, but has an ideal scenario for several big bouts. The Pole put the coffee on the table and ended his statement with the suggestion of a third big fight, as well as a move to a category higher up.

– I will defeat Ankalaev and fight a rematch against Alex Pereira. It is with him that I will stand up for myself. This is my ideal scenario… And then I will go to the mountains.
