Jan Blachowicz spent the last few days in Georgia, where he managed to summit Kazbek. The Pole fulfilled one of his dreams and was extremely satisfied with his achievement. Now it’s time for Blachowicz to get back to what he knows best.

There are many indications that Jan Blachowicz has just signed a contract for his next fight in the UFC octagon. The former light heavyweight division champion has fought only once this year. Janek lost in March to Carlos Ulberg after a unanimous judges’ decision at a gala in London.

Jan Blachowicz has so far fought 21 fights in the UFC organization. Janek’s biggest success is reaching the light heavyweight title. Blachowicz won the belt in 2020 when he knocked out Dominick Reyes and defended the title in a skirmish with Israel Adesanya. Unfortunately, Jan later had to acknowledge the superiority of Glover Teixeira.

In December 2022, the Pole was able to regain the lost trophy. Blachowicz fought a five-round battle with Magomed Ankalaev, with the vacant belt at stake. Unfortunately, because the fight ended in a draw the title did not return to Janek.
