Jan Blachowicz vs Carlos Ulberg at UFC London

Jan Blachowicz has confirmed his participation in the UFC gala in London, the former champion will face Carlos Ulberg, who has a series of 7 wins in a row.

The UFC organization today announced two strong bouts that will take place on March 22, 2025 at the UFC London gala. Both fights will feature Poles which will probably please all Poles living in the UK. Jan Blachowicz will fight a very challenging opponent. The former UFC welterweight champion will face Carlos Ulberg, who has a string of seven straight wins.

Blachowicz has taken a very long break from competing. The former KSW and UFC champion fought his last professional bout in late July 2023. Therefore, it is easy to calculate that before Jan Blachowicz enters the octagon at the London gala the break will be, as much as 20 months.

Janek recorded a draw and a loss in his last two appearances. Both fights involving the Pole were very evenly matched and could have gone either way. Blachowicz needed two surgeries to heal serious shoulder injuries. The 41-year-old Cieszynian has long announced his readiness to fight another bout in the best MMA league in the world.

Carlos Ulberg during the absence of the Pole fought, as many as three fights. Representing New Zealand, “Black Jag” can boast an excellent series of seven wins in a row. Ulberg does not have much experience in MMA, however, he previously competed successfully in kickboxing.

The Team City Kickboxing fighter is seven years younger than Blachowicz. Ulberg has built a name fighting at galas in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. In his last appearance, Carlos recorded the biggest win of his career to date. Ulberg defeated Volkan Oezdemir at a UFC gala in Macau.
