Jan Blachowicz was quick to name the opponent he wants to face in his next fight in the UFC organization.

Jan Blachowicz recorded a loss in his bout with Carlos Ulberg this past weekend. The fight was close, even on razor blades, however, in the end the judges scored a unanimous decision win for the New Zealander.

It didn’t take long for Janek to comment on his performance on one of the foreign industry portals. Blachowicz gave an extensive interview to James Lynch of the Bodog Canada channel. During the conversation, the Pole first returned to the clash with Black Jag and conveyed what went wrong in the UFC octagon in the skirmish with the much younger opponent.

– One thing only I did not realize. I didn’t look for imports, but that was precisely because I didn’t feel the distance. That was the only thing we prepared that I didn’t do in the end. In the ends of the rounds I was supposed to catch him and bring him down. I only tried once, but he defended himself very well, so I went back to punches.

– It is what it is. What can I do now? I don’t think about it anymore. I can no longer leave the decision in the hands of the judges. I have to finish my rivals before time, that’s the most important thing now.

Jan Blachowicz was quick to name a potential opponent for his next fight in the UFC octagon. Janek mentioned Volkan Oezdemir, who also fought an evenly matched bout with Ulberg. Sports-wise it is obviously an interesting fight while marketing or media-wise it would not be a big and box office fight.

– I fell a little bit in the ranking, so I don’t know who they will give me now. Maybe Volkan Oezdemir? He also fought Carlos and also lost, so maybe he would be a good option for the next fight.
