Joanna Jedrzejczyk commented on the involvement of Jakub Wikłacz and Robert Ruchała in the UFC. It turns out that the former champion knew about it for a few months.
Jakub Wikłacz and Robert Ruchała have been loudly expressing their desire to move from the KSW federation to the UFC organization for quite some time. Now that both fighters have already left the ranks of the Polish organization, they can only wait to sign contracts with the best MMA league in the world.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who represents both fighters in talks with the UFC, confirmed the good news in a recent interview with InTheCagePL ahead of the UFC’s London gala. The former UFC champion, who started out as a manager, admitted that the
– I have known about Robert and Kuba Wikłacz’s engagement to the UFC since I returned from Australia. We agreed that we will slowly start talking about it, we are still waiting for the contract. I believe that Kuba and Robert are already at such a level that they should not start from the Contender Series ceiling. And I know it for 90% that these contracts will be out of the Contender Series.
A few days earlier, similar information was provided by Robert Ruchala, who relayed on his youtube channel.
– I subordinate my whole life to this decision because an offer from the UFC organization came. This offer is the biggest dream come true for me at the moment. As for the UFC organization we got the green light, we are waiting for the contract to be finalized.
This means that we will probably learn more details about the future of the talented Poles in the near future, and perhaps even the dates of their UFC debuts and the names of their rivals will be revealed right away as well.
