Joanna Jedrzejczyk about the altercation with Jamahal Hill after UFC 323 in Las Vegas. The American responded to the Pole via her channel on the youtube platform.
On the backstage after UFC 323, Jamahal Hill said to Joanna Jedrzejczyk that he would knock her out if she touched his girlfriend. The Polish woman disbelieved the former UFC champion’s words. Security guards reacted and separated the company.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk posted a video in which she explained the situation from her perspective. However, the Polish former strawweight division champion did not go into too much detail about the whole incident.
– I have worked extremely hard to earn my reputation and I am ashamed to be in this situation. However, if someone uses my name for bad purposes, without any basis in truth, I will always defend myself. And I don’t deserve threats for that. I am aware that I am a strong woman with a lifetime of self-defense training. I have a platform and resources that most women don’t have.
– I sympathize with women who are insulted and hear threats against them, and lack the strength and resources to defend themselves. And to defend the truth. I expect more from society. I certainly expect more from the athletes in our sport. I want to thank UFC security and staff for their professionalism.
Jamahal Hill responded to Joanna’s words in an extensive video he posted on his youtube channel. Surprisingly, the American’s woman was not even present at the UFC 323 gala. According to Hill, when he approached the Polish woman and wanted to say hello Jedrzejczyk asked where his girlfriend was, since it was a women’s event. Jedrzejczyk called Hill a pick-up artist, stating that in Poland people don’t behave like that.
According to Jamahal, first there was a misunderstanding, and then Joanna said she should slap Hill’s girlfriend on the head and then get into his skin. This prompted an aggressive response from the American, which circulated the Internet on a short clip in which Hill threatened the Polish woman. You can see Jamahal’s full statement below.
