Joe Rogan will not be commentating UFC 315, as he is not going to Canada at all. The commentator admitted that he would be more willing to fly to Russia.
Joe Rogan has been increasingly skipping big-numbered galas held outside the US in recent years. It will be no different for UFC 315, which will take place on May 10 in Montreal. During a recent episode of Fight Companion, the American asked the co-hosts about where and when the aforementioned UFC gala will take place.
Joe Rogan was surprised and reluctantly admitted that he would not attend the event. Later, persuaded by Brendan Schaub, he mentioned the name of a country he would be more willing to travel to.
– Wow. I won’t be there. I don’t fly to Canada anymore. I don’t. I would be more willing to fly to Russia.
Rogan has said in the past that he does not intend to visit Canada again as long as Trudeau is in power, the latter has resigned from office, however, the election will not take place until April 28 and is unlikely to change the commentator’s decision. Joe Rogan also referred to the recent political turmoil between the US and Canada. The commentator mentioned that he had spoken to President Donald Trump about it.
– That’s not going to happen either. It’s crazy, asking them if they want to become the 51st state of the US. I talked to Trump about it, he said he wanted to make a joke about Trudeau naming him governor, and unsurprisingly a lot of people said it was a good idea.
