Johnny Walker and Azamat Murzakanov will face each other on June 7 at UFC 316, the duel is contracted in the welterweight category.

Johnny Walker and Azamat Murzakanov were scheduled to fight at the UFC gala in Qatar. The event was scheduled for May 17 but was unexpectedly canceled. Thus, the world’s best MMA league had to look for a replacement location and, of course, chose the well-known UFC APEX facility.

According to Western journalists, the Walker vs Murzakanov fight will not take place at the moved event but at a completely different gala. Johnny Walker and Azamat Murzakanov are scheduled to meet on June 7 at the UFC 316 gala.

So it will be a big PPV-sold gala, and according to Marcel Dorff of Dutch Eurosport, it will take place in Newark, New Jersey.

Johnny Walker is the more famous of the two fighters however, he has two defeats in a row. Azamat Murzakanov is undefeated in his professional career and boasts a great series of fourteen wins in a row. However, it is worth mentioning that out of the entire series, only four of the victories came in the UFC octagon.
