Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Julia Polastri will face each other in a fight at the UFC gala in Rio de Janeiro. The event will take place on October 11 at the Farmasi Arena.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz has learned the name of her next opponent in the octagon of the UFC organization. Ag Fight portal reported that the experienced Pole will face a representative of the hosts at the Rio gala. This means that Kowalkiewicz will face a fighter from Brazil for the third consecutive fight.
Julia Polastri has only three fights in the UFC octagon, two of which she lost. It is worth noting that the Brazilian is thirteen years younger than Kowalkiewicz. Thus, this fits perfectly into the trend of the last two skirmishes, in which Karolina also struggled against many years younger fighters from the coffee country.
Julia Polastri reached for the championship belts of the Shooto Brasil and LFA organizations during her career. It is worth mentioning that the fighter nicknamed “Psycho” has on her record a win over Bianca Sattelmayer, who faced Wiktoria Czyzewska at KSW 108 last weekend.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Julia Polastri will face each other in a bout contracted for three rounds in the strawweight division limit. For the Polish woman it will be her 19th fight in the UFC organization.
