Khamzat Chimaev singled out the opponent who gave him the most trouble while fighting in the UFC octagon. The undefeated fighter mentioned one name.

Khamzat Chimaev has a string of fourteen wins in a row. A native of Chechnya, the fighter first excelled in the welterweight division, and now successfully competes in the middleweight category. Chimaev fought his last fight in October and defeated Robert Whittaker in the first round. As of this moment, Khamzat does not have another fight contracted.

Khamzat Chimaev was a guest on the Azamat Chef program, where he mentioned the name of the opponent who posed the toughest test for him in the UFC octagon.

– The most difficult opponent in my career? Kamaru Usman, he defended my wrestling well, his wrestling stands at a solid level.

Khamzat Chimaev appreciated not only the Nigerian’s wrestling, but also that on the first floor he was able to defend himself in difficult positions well enough not to be submitted.

– He also defended himself well against my grappling, not just wrestling. He didn’t want to give up his neck. I tried to pin the choke for five minutes however he defended against it very well.
