Klaudia Syguła lost to Melissa Mullins in her debut fight in the UFC organization. The Pole will not count her start at UFC Vegas 100 as successful.
Klaudia Sygula and Melissa Mullins met in the opening bout of the UFC Vegas 100 gala. The fighter from England did not approach the clash professionally and did not fill the weight limit during the weigh-in. For the young Pole this will be her debut in the UFC organization.
Klaudia Sygula flew to the US with few problems, as she had a long wait for her visa to America. The Ankos MMA fighter arrived in Denver on Wednesday where she had a landing and a break, and only later continued her journey to Las Vegas. Despite such problems with the long and exhausting flight, Klaudia made weight.
Klaudia Syguła started the fight with a low kick. A strong calf kick performed by the Polish woman. Mullins walks forward, however, does not strike any blows. The Pole brings out another kick. Good combination by Klaudia Sygula. A moment of clinch, however, the fighters quickly broke it up. Mullins began to bring out single straight.
Klaudia Sygula initiates the clinch however, she made a mistake that could have ended badly. Fortunately, the Pole quickly got out of the difficult position. Melissa Mullins cut Sygula in great style and obtained a takedown. The fighter from England tries to move to the dosad. Klaudia Sygula twisted her hips, however, as a consequence, she took several blows from above. Mullins in the last 10 seconds entered the dosad and began to deliver hammer blows. The Pole was saved by the chime ending the first round.
Klaudia Sygula started the second round with boxing punches, but Mullins quickly moved the fight to the mat. The representative of England showered the Pole with a hail of punches. Klaudia Syguła gave up her back, but Mullins, instead of pinning the choke, intercepted one of the Polish woman’s wrists, ruling out the right hand of our fighter. Then Melissa Mullins hit ground and pound and the referee had no choice but to stop the fight.
