Krzysztof Glowacki comments on losing to Nandor
Krzysztof Glowacki commented on his loss to Jordan Nandor in one of the fights of the evening of the Babilon 55 gala, which took place on Saturday in Radom.
– This fight left me with more emotions than I can describe. This is not how it was supposed to go…. and I’m really damn sorry about it. I let myself down, but I know that many of you were hoping for a different outcome, and that’s what I feel most strongly about. I can see how strongly boxing habits sit in me. MMA is a completely different world, technically difficult, requiring humility and hard work. Although I learned a lesson that day, it did not take away my dreams and determination. This form of fighting has become a challenge for me, which I want to continue to take on step by step, day by day.
Krzysztof Glowacki also thanked those who cheered him on for their support. The former world boxing champion assured that he has no intention of quitting the sport.
– Thank you to all the fans, sponsors and people who kept their fingers crossed for me. Your support, messages and presence mean more to me than you can imagine. I know that a wave of heckling will probably fall on me now, it’s part of my “profession,” but I take constructive criticism at face value. I’m not going to run away. Combat sports have accompanied me all my life, they are ingrained in me very deeply, this cannot simply be cut off, erased, forgotten, it is a part of me. I promise only one thing, I will keep working, with humility, determination and faith. Thank you for being there.
