KSW’s partnership with viaplay is coming to an end. An announcement was made today announcing the exact date on which the agreement will end.
The KSW Federation began working with the viaplay streaming platform in late 2021. The move from under the wing of Polsat TV to a foreign partner was considered quite a surprise at the time.
Martin Lewandowski head of the KSW organization assured in the spring that: “Until the middle of 2025 we are safe as far as the contract with viaplay is concerned, so there is still a long perspective.“
Unsurprisingly, an announcement was made today on the official viaplay website, relaying when the partnership with KSW will end and stating that the KSW 99 gala in Ostrava will be the last one to be broadcast.
As of November 8, the cooperation agreement between Viaplay and KSW Federation will be terminated. Viaplay’s offering in Poland will continue to focus on broadcasts of the highest quality sports content available in our portfolio
Viaplay subscribers will still be able to watch the KSW 99 gala scheduled for October 19, which will be the last one shown on our service. Broadcasts of subsequent, as well as previous KSW galas, will not be available on our platform or in the Viaplay library.
