KSW Federation is openly asking fans about the next opponent for Phil de Fries. Three suggestions have been made as to who would become the heavyweight division champion’s opponent.
Phil de Fries has sat on the throne of the royal division for many years. In recent years, the KSW federation has had a lot of trouble finding a suitable opponent to challenge the heavyweight champion.
De Fries in his last bout defended his belt against Stefan Vojcak, who, although he failed to take the title from the Englishman, nevertheless put up difficult conditions and even managed to connect the champion with punches to the point that the latter had to escape to the first floor.
KSW on IG is asking fans who should be Phil de Fries’ next opponent. Three options were proposed. Fans could have their say and choose from the three presented in the graphic.
The choice is a new fighter contracted specifically to provide a new challenge for the champion. The other options are Marcin Wojcik and Artur Szpilka. Surprisingly the longest reigning KSW federation champion commented on the graphic suggesting that he is ready to accept fights with both Wojcik and Szpilka. The Englishman, who will turn 40 in April, therefore does not intend to disguise his rivals.
