Adrian Bartosinski spoke candidly about his dreams of competing in the UFC organization. The KSW champion doesn’t just want to make it to the UFC, he intends to reach for the belt.
Adrian Bartosinski will appear in the fight of the evening at the KSW 100 gala in Gliwice. On November 16 Bartosinski will fight a superfight with the legendary Mamed Khalidov. At this point, the Octopus Team fighter remains undefeated in professional MMA.
Adrian Bartosinski was a guest on the Elite Mentality x Cyprian Majcher podcast. The KSW welterweight champion knows that there would be no problem moving to the UFC organization. However, Bartos wants to first fulfill his contract with the organization run by Martin Lewandowski and Maciej Kawulski.
– I think at this point there would be no problem if I wanted to go to the UFC. Well, I know [that they are watching me]. But, gee… I wouldn’t have to go through Contender, I would go directly. But I still have a while to go, I have to finish the business I have to finish here and then I will think further.
Asked if he would fight for the UFC for less money Adrian answered briefly ‘yes’. Adrian Bartosinski talked about his UFC dream. Bartosinski doesn’t measure only in UFC octagon appearances alone. The current KSW champion would like to reach for the championship belt of the best MMA league in the world.
– Being in the UFC is not a dream for me. It’s another goal. The dream is certainly to win the UFC belt. “Being in the UFC” is not a dream for me, because many fighters have been there. Most are, the other was a while. Two, three fights, five, one… I will say yes, they really get there average fighters, but it is more luck. The right continent they come from.
– I’ve done with UFC fighters who I wouldn’t believe were in the UFC. It is the strongest federation, there are the strongest fighters there, but there are also average fighters. I think we here, as champions, have nothing to be ashamed of. Well, and I say, for me the dream is definitely to get it, but just getting there, that’s another goal.
