A KSW federation fighter scored a doping slip-up during tests at one of the galas in France. Wojslaw Rysiewski KSW sports director commented on the situation.
In the latest edition of Klatka po Klatka magazine, journalist Artur Mazur revealed that one KSW fighter fell during a doping control at a gala in France. The program host openly asked the federation’s sports director Wojslaw Rysiewski about the situation.
Wojslaw Rysiewski quickly confirmed that such a situation had indeed occurred.
– Yes, it’s true.
Mazur immediately asked another question, trying to get information on the player’s name.
– Is it true that this player was Valeriu Mircea?
KSW’s sports director did not want to reveal the name.
– I can’t say, this is medical information. At this stage only the athlete himself can disclose. Until the whole appeal process is completed, which is not so easy. Even the French commission can’t disclose.
The host of the program Klatka po Klatka did not let up and tried to get more information out of Rysiewski regarding the doping slip-up.
– Is this break in Valeriu Mircea’s starts accidental or not?
KSW’s sporting director stressed that “Lone Wolf” also had an injury and it had no impact. Valeriu Mircea fought his last fight in April last year. At that time he faced Salahdin Parnasse at the KSW 93 gala and fell to the boards in the first round.
