The KSW fighter surprised fans with one of the jobs he had in the past. It turns out that Sergiusz Zając worked in a funeral parlor.
Sergiusz Zając will return to the KSW round cage on Saturday, September 20. The fighter will fight in front of his home crowd at the KSW 110 gala in Rzeszow. Hare will welcome to the Polish federation Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz, whose family is from Poland, however, he has represented Canada for years.
A new episode of KSW Battlecourse, a program in which fighters’ preparations for galas are presented, has hit the web. It was in this material that Sergey Hare revealed that in the past he worked in a funeral parlor.
Sergiusz Zając spoke extensively about the work he has undertaken in the past, focusing specifically on his work at the funeral home.
– I’ve had more than a dozen competitions in my life, each one was interesting. This one will probably be the most interesting for everyone. Although still the goals were interesting, but there is nothing to tell about the goals. Since I was a kid I dreamed of seeing human bones. An old gravedigger of saintly memory used to come to my grandparents. A very cool man and I always asked him as a kid what he saw at work there. He told me in such glowing terms, but you see life happened so that someone led me to such a job in a funeral home and I worked like that for a few years.
Sergiusz Zając emphasized that although he had to give up the job because it interfered with his development and training, he still happens to help out at the plant from time to time.
– I was on duty, sometimes it was hard as I had to pick someone up, dress or change clothes. I gave it up because it interfered with my training. I couldn’t get enough sleep, more than once I had a phone call every day, long-distance travel. Besides, working in a funeral parlor was fun. To this day, it happens to me to go to help carry a coffin like it’s heavy. If I get a call and have nothing to do during the day I go.
