The KSW owner has spoken out about Pudzian’s return to the round cage, it turns out that the federation’s plans call for two Mariusz Pudzianowski fights in 2025.
Mariusz Pudzianowski was scheduled to return to competition at the KSW 100th anniversary gala in Gliwice. However, the former strongman currently fighting in the heavyweight category withdrew from the big event due to health problems.
More weeks and months pass, and the popular Pudzian still hasn’t returned to the KSW round cage. Martin Lewandowski was the guest of Patryk Prokulski in the TVP Sport studio. The KSW boss was asked about Pudzianowski’s immediate future and the fighter’s health.
– Recently, we have been in constant contact. Mario returned to activity not only on social media, but to sports activity. He started to train, started to arrange all sports issues with trainers, clubs and so on. He has gone into full throttle and is waiting for a fight proposal.
Asked if Mariusz Pudzianowski will perform in the first half of 2025, the KSW boss replied.
– That’s the plan. Twice a year.
This means that KSW federation’s plans include, as many as two Pudzian fights in 2025. Apparently, it was thought to encourage the 48-year-old to train MMA with a properly selected training staff to make the most of his marketing potential.
