KSW’s sports director has confirmed Phil De Fries’ next opponent. Stefan Vojcak will have the opportunity to fight for the belt.
Phil De Fries recorded another successful defense of his heavyweight championship belt over the weekend. The Englishman quickly dealt with Arkadiusz Wrzosek. De Fries brought the duel to the first floor, where he hit ground and pound and eventually pulled out a submission and forced the kickboxer to tap out.
Immediately after the fight, fans began to ask the question of who will be Phil’s next opponent. It seems that it may be hard to find someone who will be able to stand up to the Englishman in the KSW round cage.
Wojslaw Rysiewski, in an interview with Patryk Prokulski of TVP Sport, brought up the subject. KSW’s sports director confirmed that Stefan Vojcak will be Phil De Fries’ next opponent.
– We have another opponent ready. Ranking-wise, everything matches up. In addition, he also has certain qualities, I don’t want to create a story here that this should be a fifty-fifty fight, but nevertheless Štefan Vojčák is huge, he has physical conditions, he comes from wrestling, from the classical style and in addition he can hit and knock out in the stand-up.
Stefan Vojcak has a series of three wins in a row. The Slovak won before time against Kamil Gavryol, Ricardo Prasel and Michal Martinek. The mutant is close in size to the champion, and before his fights he usually weighed 118 kilograms at the weigh-in.
