Can the KSW federation organize a gala in Spain? Adrian Bartosinski welterweight division champion suggested that, in his opinion, it would quietly not be a problem.
Adrian Bartosinski and manager Lukasz Eagle appeared at the nineteenth gala of The Way of Warrior organization, held in Alicante, Spain. Of course, for the European leg of the First Round Management team, it was also an opportunity to meet Ilia Topuria, who is also a fighter of this stable.
But it turns out that the KSW champion didn’t just high-five and spend time in the company of the former UFC featherweight champion and contender for the vacant lightweight belt. Adrian Bartosinski also gave an interview to the well-known daily Marca.
Spanish journalists were tight-lipped about whether there was a chance that Europe’s top MMA organization would come to their country. The popular Bartos commented on the topic with the following words.
– I would like to fight in Spain, and whether it is possible well I think so. KSW could easily organize an event here. I think they are strong and powerful enough in Europe that there would be no problem…. Madrid. Also I think KSW should hit Spain.
Of course, at this point, the KSW champion’s statement should be treated more as a suggestion that financially there would be such a possibility. At the same time, the question should be raised whether owners Maciej Kawulski and Martin Lewandowski, as well as sporting director Wojslaw Rysiewski, would be able to find local fighters on the Iberian Peninsula to sell out the arena.
Certainly on the plus side, the fact that Spanish reporters were interested in broaching the subject with the champion of the Polish organization should be taken into account.
