Laura Grzyb commented on her transition from boxing to MMA and signing with the KSW federation. The European champion noted that promoters in boxing had no idea about her career.

On Wednesday, the first news broke that Laura Grzyb had signed a long contract with the KSW organization. For the European boxing champion, this means a change of discipline and starts in a decidedly more complicated fighting formula.

The undefeated 29-year-old fighter has already managed to comment on the move in an interview with Super Express. Laura Grzyb admitted that she is ready for new challenges and intends to use her excellent stand-up skills.

– I don’t treat the transition to MMA as a resignation from boxing, but as a search for development. I have a good stand-up, I’m fast, dynamic and ready for new challenges.

Laura Grzyb, who has experienced a taste of championship in boxing, would like the KSW federation to bring back championship belts in the women’s divisions.

– I want to show girls that there is no need to be afraid. Female MMA is growing and can appeal to the fans. I hope that women’s championship belts will return in KSW, which would be great.

Laura Grzyb commented on her transition from professional boxing to KSW. The athlete indicated that she felt that the promoters in our country had no idea how to develop her career.

– I have fought two fights since winning the European title, but they were not a stepping stone to the world championship. Promoters in Poland apparently didn’t have an idea for my career development anymore. I can’t waste my time, I have to use my sporting and media potential.
