Laura Grzyb, the European boxing champion, has signed a long-term contract with KSW, Maciej Mishkin announced of the athlete’s deal.
Laura Grzyb has fought just one bout in her crown sport in 2024. The fighter won the vacant IBO belt in the super-cocker category in late October. The European boxing champion told InTheCage in November that she would love to compete for the KSW belt at the KSW EPIC 2 gala.
The indications that Grzyb would join from KSW had therefore been apparent for quite some time. Maciej Miszkiń, a former professional boxer who currently works as a commentator and analyst at boxing galas, posted an entry suggesting that Grzyb had signed a long-term contract with KSW.
– European professional boxing champion Laura Grzyb has reportedly signed an 8-fight contract with KSW. If true it would mean a complete change of discipline because knowing the reality it will probably take 3 years to fulfill such a contract.
Laura Grzyb is undefeated since the beginning of her professional career. The athlete has eleven victories in a row in the boxing ring. Grzyb made her debut in 2019 and is unbeaten. The Pole is 29 years old, so it seems the perfect age for a change of discipline with chances for a long career in MMA.
Laura Grzyb recently attended a camp at the Bangtao Thai club where she worked on both stand-up and wrestling. There, the Pole had the opportunity to train and spar with more than a dozen fighters including Jasmine Jasudavicius, who has a string of 4 straight wins in the UFC. In Poland, the European boxing champion trains on the Shark Top Team Bytom mat.
