UFC fighter Luis Pajuelo has been suspended for doping for two years. The UFC immediately terminated the Peruvian’s contract.

On Tuesday, the CSAD commission announced that Luis Pajuelo has accepted a two-year suspension. The UFC fighter was caught doping in two out-of-competition samples taken on August 5 and 21.

In samples taken from Pajuelo, commissioners detected 19-norandrosterone (a metabolite of nandrolone and bolandione) and IRMS. The Peruvian admitted to using banned drugs and revealed that his “first aid kit” also contained deca-durabolin.

Luis Pajuelo has been released from the UFC. The organization made the decision to immediately terminate the doper’s contract. This means that Pajuelo ended his adventure in the best MMA league in the world on just one lost fight.

The 29-year-old fighter has been suspended for 2 years, which means he won’t be able to return to competing in the US until August 24, 2026 at the earliest. Of course, it should be taken into account that in many countries organizations do not pay attention to suspensions issued by USADA or CSAD and Pajuelo will probably fight at regional galas in South America.
