At the XTB KSW 112 gala in Szczecin, Maciej Kazieczko (9-4), a former KSW title challenger, will welcome undefeated Adam Masaev (10-0), making his debut in the round cage. The confrontation will take place on November 15 at the Netto Arena. Krzysztof Mendlewski, who was originally matched against Kazieczka, had to withdraw from the bout due to an eye injury.
Maciej Kazieczko has been fighting for KSW since 2016 and is a former light heavyweight title challenger. He has fought twelve fights in the round cage. He last fought last July and lost to Welisson Paiva. Then he was scheduled to face Roman Szymanski and then Iras Khizriev, but both bouts were canceled due to health problems of the rivals. The Ankos MMA representative is a fighter who always gives impressive fights and is a real guarantee of excitement in the cage. So far, he has finished six of his nine won bouts by sending his rivals to the boards. Twice he was awarded the bonus for the best knockout and the same amount for the best fight of the evening. Three times he won already in the first round, and the finish in his performance on Michael Dubois was considered one of the most spectacular in the history of the organization.
Adam Masaev has been competing professionally since 2019. He has fought ten fights and won all of them. Seven times he defeated his rivals by submission, and twice by knockout. As many as seven times he won already in the first round of the duel. Representing France, the fighter last fought in September 2023. After that, he competed successfully in grappling competitions. The 25-year-old is a holder of a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
