Magomed Ankalaev indicated where he wants to defend his championship belt and what goals he has set for himself after winning the title.

Magomed Ankalaev defeated Alex Pereira at UFC 313 in Las Vegas and reached for the UFC organization’s welterweight championship belt. Anakalev became the third Dagestani after Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev to become UFC champion.

Magomed Ankalaev has finished only two of his eight fights before time in the last four years. Despite this, the Russian is confident and has already begun to set his first conditions. Ankalaev has indicated where he wants to stand to defend his championship belt.

– I think Dana White and Mick Maynard will keep the word they gave me. I want to defend my belt in Abu Dhabi and I will do everything to show how good a champion I am. I set myself one goal I want to finish all my rivals before time.

Magomed wants to fight in Abu Dhabi probably hoping that the event will be held firstly closer to Dagestan, and secondly in the European time zone so that his fans can watch the fight in the evening. Of course, such words are probably followed by money as well, since sheikhs are eager to reward those who promote their cities.
