Marcin Rozalski wants to fight in Oktagon MMA, the former KSW champion admitted that he has an idea to team up with the Czech-Slovak organization, which is entering the Polish market.
The hot topic in Polish MMA trade media in recent weeks has been the decision of the Oktagon MMA organization to invade the Polish scene. The duo of owners decided to surprise and for good measure announced the contracting of Michal Materla and his appearance at the Oktagon 86 gala, to be held in Szczecin.
Jaru went to Różaland to conduct a charity live show to support the collection. On the occasion, he also interviewed Marcin Różalski about the Oktagon MMA organization’s entry into the Polish market.
Jarek asked Różal what he thought about Michal Materla signing a contract with a Czech-Slovak federation.
– If an organization can afford to provide mega strong names, not strong fighters. Because it is one thing to have a strong fighter and another thing to have a strong name. Just like in Polish K-1 we have strong fighters, but we don’t have strong names. Because the strongest one is Arek Wrzosek, but he is already fighting in MMA. The contract that Michal Materla signed will definitely help the federation to promote itself in Poland.

Marcin Różalski has confirmed that he would like to fight in the Octagon MMA organization.
– I can’t hide the fact that somewhere the idea of cooperation with this federation also occurred to me. As far as I know, this federation won’t focus strictly on MMA, but somewhere maybe it will also go into K-1 and fistfighting. I hope so, I heard about it somewhere. Also, I don’t hide the fact that if they gave a good offer.
Later, Różal further assessed Materla’s return to a sports organization after a one-time foray into a freak federation.
– The fact that Michael returned to the sports organization, a surprise? No. I was very enthusiastic about it. I’m mega happy that Michal will have the opportunity to fight in the sports arena typically and certainly with a strong competitor.
The first Oktagon MMA gala in Poland will take place in April 2026. Ondrej Novotny and Pavol Neruda therefore have almost six months to recruit more stars from the Polish MMA scene.
